DC vs RCB predictions and betting : Recent form and head-to-head
DC didn’t look like giving up after that super over win against KXIP in the 1st game. They put on some clinical performances throughout the first half where they went on to win 5 games out of 7. They continued the pursuit and were looked upon for having a perfect combo.
They continued their pursuit and were comfortably placed at 7 wins in 9 games which is when things started to slip away. They lost to KXIP by 5 wickets and were outclassed by KKR in Abu Dhabi. They were hammered by SRH in the 12th game with their 4th consecutive defeat coming against Mumbai Indians yesterday that has put the team in a do-or-die situation.
RCB are going though a rough patch after some really good performances upfront. They kicked off their campaign with 5 wins in 7 games and were looking like it was their time to finally have their hands on the prestigious trophy.
After the 10th game they were sitting pretty with 7 wins and 3 losses with every chance of making it to the playoffs with 4 games to go. Three games later, they are still in 2nd position but their future in this edition unclear with 3 back to back losses for Kohli men. With a game to go, the safest way for them seal the spot is to defeat DC on Monday, but it’s easier said than done.

DC vs RCB predictions and betting : Squad comparison
Top order: RCB > DC
RCB top order has carried the batting lineup for a while now. Devdutt Padikkal has been a great pick for the side who has consistently given good starts for the team and has scored 422 runs at 127.10. The lack of form of Aaron Finch brought in Josh Phillippe who has been handy in the last two games but will have to stay in the middle for a longer time.
Captain Virat Kohli is their highest run getter but it is time for him to fire on all cylinders when the team needs the most. He has so far accumulated 431 runs in 13 innings at a not so impressive strike rate of 122.09.
For DC, Shikhar Dhawan has been the only savior but has been highly inconsistent in the recent games. After back to back to tons, he scored two ducks becoming the first player to do so in the tournament. He has so far scored 471 runs at an improved strike rate of 146.72.
The likes of Prithvi Shaw and Ajinkya Rahane have often fallen early whereas Shreyas Iyer has been off color after that minor shoulder issue. The Captain has scored 414 runs at 123.95 but a big innings is required from him in Abu Dhabi.
Middle order and all-rounders: RCB = DC
The middle order of RCB is literally carried by one-man AB de Villiers and the fall of his wicket means curtains down for the team. The Proteas legend has scored 363 runs in 13 innings at an impressive strike rate of 163.51.
Gurukeerat Mann Singh has never looked comfortable so far whereas Shivam Dube will have to strike better in the death. Chris Morris was impressive in the initial stint but has started to lose his sheen lately. He has taken 11 wickets in 8 games and has hit a few maximums coming lower down the order.
On the other hand, the middle order woes have continued for DC with the likes of Rishabh Pant, Shimron Hetmyer and Marcus Stoinis not contributing with the bat.
Pant has scored at 112.29 which is way below his usual strke rate whereas Stoinis who looked dangerous initially has looked dismal in the recent games. Hetmyer never looked going with the West Indian scoring 138 runs in 9 innings without a useful knock for the side.
Bowlers: DC > RCB
There is little doubt that the RCB bowlers have started to look ordinary after initial glory. Except for the spin department, the bowling has looked vulnerable in the recent outings. Yuzvendra Chahal has time and again delivered for the side making him the highest wicket taker with 20 scalps in 13 innings.
Washington Sundar has been supportive with his economy of 5.75 and 7 wickets in the same period. Barring that one game against KKR, Mohammed Siraj is nowhere consistent with his lengths and lines apart from the fact that he lacks variations.
Navdeep Saini has not given breakthroughs and the fact that he has been expensive rubs salt into the wounds. Isuru Udana is a good candidate with his slower deliveries and is a must for the next game. The DC bowling line up is stronger and better than the RCB one.
Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje lead the pace attack with the pacers going for plenty in the last two games. While Rabada has 23 wickets in 13 games, Nortje has 16 scalps in 12 games at 7.94.
The spin department having R Ashwin and Axar Patel were extremely effective in the initial games but the pair has been a little off color these days. They are responsible for 17 wickets combined at an economy less than 8 and have a big game on Monday.
The third pacer option of having Harshal Patel or Tushar Deshpande hasn’t really paid off for the team whereas Pravin Dubey might get another go for the next game.
DC vs RCB predictions and betting : Predicted Winner and IPL Betting Tips
The virtual knockout between DC and RCB will be held in the Sheikh Zayed stadium, Abu Dhabi on 2nd November at 7.30pm IST. The pitch here at Abu Dhabi has looked a lot better to bat on with a tinge of a grass that will assist the quicks early on.
The pitch gets easier as the game progresses which means that it is ideal to chase here. The par score in this venue is 170+ with slow bowlers getting little or no help from the deck.
The online betting sites and the prediction sites are expecting a tight contest between the two teams. According to Bet365, RCB are a little ahead in this battle and are probably going to seal the 2nd spot in the table with DC requiring a good effort on Monday.

According to Oddschecker, the best odds so far are still pointing towards RCB but the DC still have a significant chance to make up lost ground.
