Best Chief Minister in India, 29th August, 2021: India Today released its Mood of the Nation poll on 16th August. As per the India Today MOTN Most Popular Chief Minister in their Home States is MK Stalin who has 42% approval rating.
Naveen Patnaik has 38% approval rating while Pinarayi Vijayan has 35% approval rating. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has support of 31% citizens from Maharashtra. He is followed by Mamata Banerjee who has approval rating of 30%.
Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath are at 6th and 7th position respectively. Their approval rating is 29%.
Yogi Adityanath was found to be the most popular CM across the country.
According to the latest Ormax poll, MK Stalin has maintained his top position amongst best Chief Ministers in India. Naveen Patnaik and Pinarayi Vijayan are 2nd Best among the Chief Minister's.
Ormax released their poll for the Best CM in India for the month of July. The poll has rated Chief Minister MK Stalin as Best Chief Minister while Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik and Kerela CM Pinarayi Vijayan are in second position. They are followed by Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh and Mamata Banerjee of West Bengal. Jagan Reddy who topped two months ago has now moved to 5th spot.Three out of the top 5 Chief Ministers won the May assembly elections indicating a honeymoon effect.

1. MK Stalin, 67% down 1%
In May, MK Stalin shared 2nd position with Odisha CM. For the month of June he climbed to the top position. He has been successful in maintaining his top spot also for the month of July.
His overall popularity rating saw 1% decline.
2. Pinarayi Vijayan: 61% down 6%
Kerala CM Pinjarayi Vijayan was in 1st position in the list of Best Chief Ministers in India for May. Last month he has was rated as 2nd Best CM in India. This month he shares 2nd position with Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik.
Last month he gained 2% in his popularity rating and this month he lost 6%.
2. Naveen Patnaik, 61%, down 2%
Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik after making his entry as Best Chief Minister for April, moved down in the ranking in May as 2nd Best CM in India. For June he gained 1% in his popularity and was in 3rd position. This month despite losing 2% in his popularity, he shares 2nd position with Kerala CM,
Naveen Patnaik has an asset worth Rs 64.98 crores.
3. Yogi Adityanath, 59%, up 4%
For the first time in last 6 months Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath lost his top position as Best Chief Minister in India April. For May his rating saw a 7% decline but in the month of June he gained 8% in his popularity rating. He was placed at 6th position for this month.
This month his popularity rating saw 4% increase and from 6th position he now is at 3rd positon.
4. Mamata Banerjee, 57%, down 1%
Mamata Banerjee has been elected as Chief Minister of Bengal for the 3rd consecutive time. Despite 10 years of anti incumbency, TMC won more than 200 seats in Bengal.
Her ranking saw a massive rise in the month of May as she was placed at 4th position and last month she moved one rank down and was rated as 5th Best CM in India.
This month her rating saw 1% decline but has rank has moved to 4th from 5th position.
5. Y S Jagan Reddy, 53%, up 6%,
Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan lost a total 10% in his rating last month. He was at 4th position for the month of May. For June he was been pushed to 9th position.
For July, he has moved from 9th spot to 5th spot with 6% increase in his popularity rating.

6. Himanta Biswa Sarma, 52% down 8%
After taking over as Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma has made his entry in the Best Chief Minister in India list. He wasrated as 3rd Best Chief Minister in India in May and last month he was in 4th position.
In July he lost 8% in his rating and now he is at 6th spot.
7. Arvind Kejriwal, 51%, down 1%
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal approval rating was 44% in May but in June month he has gained 8% in his approval rating.
This month he has maintained his 7th position with 51% approval rating.
8. Shivraj Chouhan, 50%, down 1%
Shivraj Singh Chouhan who was shared the No 1 spot with UP CM as Best CM in India in January lost his top spot last April.
In May he furthur lost 6% in his rating and is was placed at No. 12 position. But for June he gained 9% in his rating and is at 8th position.
This month despite losing 1% in his rating he is still at 8th position.
9. Vijay Rupani: 48% , up 4%,
Gujarat's Chief Minister saw an unexpected rise in his popularity in April. He was rated as 2nd Best Chief Minister among the CM's of Indian states. But in May he has lost his ranking once again.
In May he lost 9% and was tied at 13th position with Nitish Kumar. In June with 6% gain he was at 12th position.
For July he has again made his entry among 10 Best Chief Ministers. He is at 9th position for July rating.

10.Uddhav Thackeray, 46%, down 1%
Uddhav Thackeray was ranked 5th in April month's survey report but in May he lost his ranking and has moved to 8th spot. In June he ranking saw a decline but popularity saw rise of 2%.He was at 9th position in June.
For July he has moved to 10th position with 1% decline in his popularity rating.
11. Jai Ram Thakur, 46% down 6%
The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh made his new entry into Best Chief Minister of India list in the month of January and in May he had was ranked 6th spot.
Last month he has gained his rating but the ranking went down from 6th to 8th.
For July raking, he has shares 10th position with Maharashtra Chief Minister.
11. Basavaraj Bommai, Rating 45%
The new Chief Minister of Karnataka is ranked at 11th Best Chief Minister in India.
12. K Chandrasekhar Rao, 44% up 8%
Telangana CM has lost both in rank and his popularity rating went from 8th to 10th position in May. In June with 7% decline he was at 14th position.
For July with an increase of 8% in his popularity he is at 12 position.
13. Pramod Sawant, Rating 43%, down 4%
Goa Chief Minister made his entry in the list of Top 10 Chief Ministers in India in January when he was ranked 7th along with Telangana and Karnataka Chief Ministers. In May after losing 7% in his popularity rating he was rated as 10th Best Chief Minister in India.
In June he moved to 9th position with an increase of 4% in his popularity rating. For July he has lost both ranking and rating and he is now at 13th position.
14. Ashok Gehlot, 40%, down 5%
Rajasthan Chief Minister lost 8% in his approval rating in June and from 9th position in May he has moved to 11th position in June.
In July he has been ranked as 14th Best Chief Minister in India.
14. Bhupesh Baghel: 40% down 2%
Bhupesh Baghel gained massively in January and February. However, in March his rating and ranking both saw a massive decline.
For July he shares 14th position with Rajasthan Chief Minister.
15.Nitish Kumar, 37%, down 8%
Bihar Chief Minister Nitisk Kumar who was continuously losing his popularity, lost massive 10% in May and was at 13th position.
In June he gained 7% and was at 11th position. For July he again lost 8% and is at 15th spot.
16. ML Khattar: 33%, up 1%
Haryana CM made a big leap in his position in February month by gaining 4% approval rating. He was rated as 8th Best CM in India. In March he was at 15th position with 39% approval rating.
For July he is at 16th position with 1% increase in his popularity.
17. Puskar Singh Dhami, 29%
The new Uttarakhand Chief Minister is 17th Best in the list of Best Chief Minister in India.
18. Hemant Soren, 27%, down 5%
Jharkhan CM Hemant Soren shared 9th position with Rajasthan CM in the month of February and in March he shared 13th position with Rajasthan CM. In April he lost 3% in his popularity rating but gained in ranking. He was ranked at 11th position. In May he was at 14th spot with 35% rating. In June he was at 15th position with 32% approval rating.
For July he is at 18th position.
19. Captain Amarinder Singh: 20% down 10%
Punjab Chief Minister Amrinder Singh is the most unpoular in the list of Best Chief Minister in India. This month he lost 10% in approval rating.
Amrinder Singh government has allowed farmer's sell their produce outside the APMC thereby notifying the farm laws despite his state farmers being engaged in protest against the bill. He has lost a lot in approval rating.
