Delhi Assembly Election is just a month away. The ruling Aam Aadmi Party may seem to have an edge however, this time elections seems to be a three cornered fight between AAP, BJP and also Congress which gave up their fight during 2015 Assembly elections. Here we share few facts about Delhi Assembly Elections:

  6. In 2015 Delhi Assembly Election, more than 80% of opinion polls gave BJP majority with only few giving majority to Aam Aadmi Party.
  7. In exit polls released on 7th February 2015, almost all gave majority to Aam Aadmi Party but it was only Axis MyIndia that gave over 50 seats to AAP in its exit polls.
  8. Since 1993, that is the First Delhi Assembly, BJP came to power only once that is from 1993-199 During this period, BJP had 3 Chief Ministers, Madan Lal Khurana, Sahib Singh Verma and Sushma Swaraj.
  9. In 2015, both BJP and AAP were able to get almost equal share of Brahmin votes, while Dalits voted more in favour of AAP.
