KKR vs RR Predictions and Betting Summary
KKR vs RR Predictions and betting : Recent form and head-to-head
KKR have had a roller coaster ride in this season with convincing victories and unpredictable losses. Despite staying in the 4th spot, they have been inconsistent and never looked comfortable so far. At halfway mark, they had 4 wins in 7 games and were hoping to repeat the same in the next half. Unfortunately, they have managed to win 2 games out of 6 in which one of those came in a super over contest against SRH.
Despite winning against DC last weekend, they faced consecutive defeats against KXIP and CSK that has put them in a spot of bother with 12 points on the board and a negative net run rate. It is important for them to get that two points with a healthy margin to improve the NRR.
RR had some stellar victories at the start of the season but lost their way after 4 consecutive defeats in the first half. But their second half of the season has been better with some all-round performances coming against CSK and MI.
In their recent outing on Friday, even though their bowlers went for plenty of runs, the batting line up stepped up chasing the total in 17.3 overs that has opened the tournament open with RR still a hot candidate to make it to the next stage. They will be looking to have 14 points on the board and would be praying for other results to go their way.

KKR vs RR Predictions and betting : Squad comparison
Top order: RR > KKR
RR’s top order was their prime issue after RR started losing games in the initial period. But with Ben Stokes returning to the side and Robin Uthappa promoted up the order, they have got some solid opening partnerships in the recent games. With Stokes taking the initiative, Uthappa has played the anchor role.
Stokes has accumulated 267 runs at 141.26 whereas Uthappa has close to 200 runs at 117.28. Sanju Samson who comes at 3 has returned to form after a couple of low scores. He currently has 374 runs at a whooping strike rate of 161.20. On the other hand, the opening combination of the side is still up for debate at the KKR dugout.
Shubman Gill has played his part but hasn’t really attacked in the powerplay. The youngster has scored 404 runs in 13 games at a strike rate of 115.75. Nitish Rana has pitched in with few impressive performances and has so far scored 352 runs at 139.13. Sunil Narine at the top has been a liability whereas Rahul Tripathi should have got a long run in the opening slot.
Middle order and All-rounders: RR > KKR
RR’s middle order looks dangerous with top order setting up the game for them. The likes of Smith, Buttler and Tewatia have the ability to win games single-handedly. The captain has 307 runs coming at 4 with 3 fifties in 13 innings at 131.75.
Jos Buttler has shown glimpses of what he is capable of but the English player will have to step up in the coming games for the team. He has so far scored 293 runs at a strike rate of 142.92.
Rahul Tewatia has been a quality finisher who scores at close to 145 and has averaged 44.80 in 10 innings. Along with his contribution with the bat, he has 7 wickets at an economy of 7.16. KKR’s middle failure conundrum is one of the prime reasons for their inconsistency this season.
Eoin Morgan who is their captain currently has 350 runs in 13 innings whereas Dinesh Karthik's, wk, lack of form has affected the team big time. The veteran wicket keeper has scored only 169 runs in 13 games at 127.06. With Andre Russell’s return still a question mark, Rahul Tripathi will have to play down the order allowing Narine to be used as a floater.
Bowling department: KKR > RR
Apart from Jofra Archer’s brilliance with the ball, RR has been a little let down by their bowling attack. Jofra Archer has so far taken 19 wickets in 13 games at an economy of 6.69. The likes of Varun Aaron, Kartik Tyagi and Ankit Rajpoot have been extremely expensive in the middle and death overs that has affected their performance.
The spin department led by Shreyas Gopal has nowhere near its best with the Karnataka spinner taking 9 scalps in 13 games at an economy greater than 8. Tewatia has been economical but he hasn’t really delivered with breakthroughs.
For KKR, Varun Chakravarthy has led the charts with 15 wickets and an economy of 7 whereas Pat Cummins who was rusty in the initial phase has looked sharp in the recent outings. He has been supported by Lockie Ferguson who has been effective in the death with his slower ones and yorkers. The Kiwi quick has 6 wickets in 5 games at an economy of 7.46.
The team’s biggest concern has been Sunil Narine who has managed just 5 wickets in 9 games with his modified action making no impact so far. The Indian pace contingent having Prasidh Krishna, Shivam Mavi and Kamlesh Nagarkoti will have to play a bigger role in the next game for the team to get across the line.
KKR vs RR predictions and betting analysis: Schedule and pitch report
The match between KKR and RR will be held in the Dubai International stadium on 1st November at 7.30 pm IST. The surface in Dubai has remained intact for 40 overs in last few games. It has a bit for the spinners in addition to the long boundaries that will make life difficult for the batsman.
